Our Curriculum
The focus of the curriculum on applied and contextualised learning provides an alternative to the approaches offered by traditional schools and one that is co-designed and implemented with our employer partners and The University of Westminster. The approach to learning is integrated with employer-led business challenge projects that are at the centre of student learning.
Core learning, e.g. in mathematics and science, will not take place in isolation, but will increasingly be integrated with technical learning and set in the context of the transport engineering and construction industries. The practical application of students’ learning at the UTC will be explicit and students will be able to see a clear line of sight to higher education, apprenticeships or further education.
