Microsoft Teams is a collaboration app that allows students and teachers to communicate & collaborate in and outside of college school. It allows you to stay organised with your studies and communicate all in one place. Teams will allow you to access your learning from anywhere including accessing lesson content, online lessons, communication with staff and students, home learning and assignments. Teams is the remote learning platform the UTC will use in the event of a partial closure or closure of the school.
Microsoft Teams is essentially a hub for a group of people, this could be a particular group or a class. Teams provides a single point of access for chats, meetings, files, assignments, calendars and video conferencing. It is fully integrated into Office 365 so all your OneDrive files, Powerpoints, Word Documents etc work within Teams. You can even collaborate on files together in real-time.
